Sorry if this has already been answered but some mods using latest version forge 1.12.2 ask for a different version of forge(Quark,BOP,JEI) although JEI can be used client side there's some limits to it. If this is a mod developer situation and not an aternos one that's fine. Also when I use EnderIO and its dependency it requires me to get more EnderIO stuff. regardless of that Morpheus a single mod that doesn't need dependencies wants me to use a different version of forge even though I have the latest version and most mods I've installed have worked
