this happened to me i made a creeper farm n it wasnt spawning any creeper but in my case it was the mob cap so u also try to light every cave cause in caves mabs and spawn in the day and in the night the mob cap will be already full

i use to play on a 1.17 smp but recently my friend made a full netherite beacon in one night and i cant veiw previous log to see if he cheated it or not cause it doesnt feels real is there anything i can do u find out if he use and hacks or not?
