Well, if the issue from Simple Voice Chat wasn't on my side but the modders I'd say we're done with this thread!
Thank you all very much for your support!

Yeah, that page was the first thing I checked. My port is 49492 so I just slapped it in there.
but still the voicechat won't work, the plug with the red strikethrough line keeps appearing for everyone, what's weird is that I can listen to myself when ajusting volumes and everything, but I can't speak, create or join any groups -
After trying several times I made it work with the ~100mb one.
It seems Minecraft gets REALLY upset if you use other compression methods or change the dictionary size when zipping.
I use a lot of large files on my pc so I use LZMA on Ultra with a 1GB dictionary size and a 256 word size and it seems that minecraft doesn't like anything that's THAT compressed. I went back to the default settings, uploaded the 98GB file to dropbox and entered the server and it worked!!!
Thanks for your help!
Now the onlything that's left is to solve the Simple Voicechat thing where no one can actually speak nor connect to the chat. -
Only 50mb? Soundpacks weight one helluva lot more than 50mb and they're just sounds... and mojang stated a 100mb on their wiki... weird.
Well anyways,
Yes, after testing out it appears the one that doesn't show up is the 100mb one, weird.
I will try extracting and recompressing the RP, the resourcepack version should be 7 foir 1.17 right? -
Basically what the title says. My server's resourcepack fails to be applied when it finishes downloading.
I read every possible wiki article detailing how to use a server side resourcepack already.
I read one thread here that had the same problem but my folder structure is correct and the resourcepack works clientside.
I thought it was the weight since its short of the 100mb limit imposed by mojang so I recompressed every ogg to make it fit in 95-ish and it still won't work. I even went as far as making a shredded version where the compression kills quality of audio to test, it weights around 47-ish mb and it STILL won't get applied.
Heres the link for both the packs, any advice would be appreciated.
