So i was going on my online modded server and it had a message that was saying that the forge client was needed for entering this server and to contact a server admin I am very confused could somone help me
My server tells me to log on with forge downloaded but i do have it on my computer and i have to contact a server admim

You need Forge and the mods your server has installed on your PC as well in order to join a modded server.
They also have to be in the exact same version.
