I downloaded create flavoured but it didn't download anything in the mod folder, and when I tried to manually add the mods they weren't compatible with the current version

Because that's not a mod lol, that's a modpack.
when I tried to manually add the mods they weren't compatible with the current version
Then those mods don't support your currently installed Minecraft version, as simple as that.
