Removing a mod crashes the server

I've tried to remove blood magic from the server but it crashes the server as long as its not there.

I've tried removing and deleting every item from that mod from the server and trying again but it still crashes. I've downloaded the world save and loaded it in single player and it crashes there too.

There was another thread here with a similar issue but their solution was to either deal with the mod being there or loading a new save but I'm sure there has to be another solution here as this problem has never happened with other mods.
