  • Im trying to have a good performances on my server, so I searched alot on google to make everything I can for my survival server that opening tommrow. here is a picture that shows my server performances: (tps command with the sparky plugin)

With a google search I was able to get a good tps on my server, but there is one thing called max ms which is always red! What exactly is it and why is it always red and how can I fix it?

should I worry about that 1 red thing? What exactly is it?

well, I dont really know what is the whole min/med/95%ile/max ms is so I would really appreciate a full explanation

    what have I tried yet:

searching alot on google, I also read alot of performances tutorials, but there is still no complete understanding about the "min/med/95%ile/max ms". what is "min"? what is "med"? what is "95&ile"? what is "max ms"?

    thanks alot for helpers!

Changed the title of the thread from “Im trying to have a good performances on my server” to “making a good performances on paper server”.
  • You should pay attention solely to the TPS, if it's at 20, it's completely fine

Ok, thanks :) I hope it will stays good with alot of players and not for 1 only.

btw, I really appreciate your hard work over the years on the Aternos forum, I've had many times to search for things on Google and see you responding to posts (that also helped me a lot), I really appreciate what you do for the community.

  • If the server is optimised correctly, performance with a plethora of players online shouldn't be bad.

The first step would of course be using papermc, which you already did, in which case you're mostly set already.
