Starting My Server/Ab My Server

I am new and when I first tried to start it I had a problem. it says that 1.7.9 is incompatible and so I switched it to 1.7.5 however when I refresh the page it is still set to 1.7.9, I can not start the server and think this might be the reason. can some one help?

You can use 1.7.9, only the Whitelist and OP-List are incompatible with it, but you can still edit them in game with commands.
