We are not the developers of Factions, so we obviously can't update it.

Sorry. Faction1.7.9 must available on dev.bukkit

The newest version (2.4.0) is actually for 1.7.9, but Aternos shows it as is it for 1.7.4. So just install the newest version and you will have it for 1.7.9.
