Hello. So recently I was going to try setup a server directly from minecraft.net but I realized port forwarding will never work. But on to the point, I startup my server and put the ip in the ip section but when I join it says logging in for a while then it comes up to a screen saying
Internal Exeption: io.netty.handler.timeout.readtimeoutExeption
So any help? Thanks!
cant join my server?

Are you talking about a private server or an Aternos Server? We only provide support for Aternos Servers.
-
He is talking about an Aternos Server. It happens to me sometimes.
-
Yep ^ I was talking about the aternos server

Try to start your server later again. Also try to use the dynamic IP-Adress.
-
I have used my dynamic ip and it still doesn't work (dynamic ip =ip4 address?) I have tried to start the server for over months, so trying later won't help
-
Then reinstall the server if you didn't build anything important yet.
-
Also try to download the world then try to reinstall and also if the dynamic ip does not work try opening the command prompt and typing in
"ipconfig /flushdns" it usually fixes the dynamic ip problem for me.
