Hi,
I was just wondering if the server gets laggy when you build big machines on a Vanilla server or when use guys use big modpacks like skyfactory 4 ?

Hi, there are several reasons why servers can have a bad performance, too many entities, mods/plugins too heavy or that are broken, etc. If you want to improve your server performance you can take a look at some of the suggestions in this article: Optimization guide for Minecraft servers and Lags.
