i was creating a PVE server, when i tried to set spawn (i changed the spawn radius) it spawned me ontop of the box of the spawn, i tried alot but it still did, anyone know how to fix this?

Is the spawn location located in a location with blocks in the way? Minecraft automatically pushes you to the top of the blocks when you spawn to prevent suffocation.
