I've read previous threads and reasons on your denials which were absolutely ludicrous. SevTech: Ages is apparently “Too resource-intensive” even though when compared to “All the mods 3” it dwarfs in comparison (Or equals intensity-wise).
That's actually really easy to answer:
We check the pack, start it, test it and do some performance optimizations and make it compatible with our system. While testing we've already seen that this pack might cause problems, but we added it as many people requested it.
After we've added it we got many many reports about problems with this pack -> The pack does not start.
We see in our start statistics how often the problem occurs.
We investigated it and tried to get it working -> no success.
Then we remove the pack as it does not work on our servers and there is no expectation to get it working.
We did that process two times: Once a few months ago with an older version and once recently with a more recent version.
I found it odd how almost ever other server hosting platform allows for sevtech except for this one...
As you maybe already noticed. We are not like every other server hoster.
We have a completely different concept, completely different system and completely different technical environment.
All the mods 3 has nearly the same problems and is under investigation from our side. However the difference is that it
- even worked with older versions
- people were already playing on it and made progress with that pack
- start problems occur not that often.
It may be that someone comes in comparison to the result that All the mods is the more intense pack.
We can say from our side that we come to a different result.
