The world you download is the correct one.
Depending on the cracked setting your old and new server might use different uuids to identify players.
This is a common thing caused by some scratchy browser extensions.
Disable them, especially any download managers.
Please double check that the version of the mod quark is the same on client and server

You probably don't have the same mods installed on your computer as on the server.

We don't modify the default configuration of modpacks.
We are already aware of that new setting.
The new simulation distance setting can certainly lead to performance improvements, but we believe that the advantage is smaller than you suspect. World generation plays a very big role and is also one of the main reasons why we limit the view distance. In addition, it can be assumed that with the 1.18 release the world generation will be even more ressource intensive.
Currently there are no plans to change the current limits. We will monitor this and try to figure out how we can use the new settings to improve performance for all users.
Report that to the creator of GalaxySpace. The exception is coming from that mod, but I don't really know what's wrong.
