You can not modify the configuration files of modpacks on Aternos.
Create the world you want in SinglePlayer and upload it to the server.
I'm not an expert on Java but can't you decompile and edit it, hence removing the system limitation bypass?
from technical point of view, yes.
But the effort to do this much higher than the benefit
Provide a link to the mod you're talking about.
Also make sure that you have the right mod loader on your server.

Scripting itself is okay, that's why we offer older versions of the Skript plugin.
But newer versions of Skript and Denizen allow bypassing our system limitations.
Eg. faking players, downloading additional files etc.
Try deleting the config folder of client and server.
If the issue persists share your client log

Does the issue persist if you delete your playerfile?

The message "Unkown Host" means that their Minecraft is unable to translate the entered address into a numeric IP. Either their ISP is broken, or their home network/pc.
