Can you please provide a link to plugin you exactly installed?
Could you please calm down? You're like exploding, it's just a mere trifle.
Okay, it's not exactly the case I described above.
The mod creator just changed the URL on CF, our system does not like that as it's the only easy way to identify mods on CF.
Fixed it, Check https://aternos.org/addons/a/curseforge/wither-bones
The main problem is that Curseforge did not have a correct implementation for multiple mod loaders for a long time.
Some mod creators put Forge and Fabric mods together on the same CF page, some creators create different pages like for the mod you posted above.
The problem for our system in such a case is that it is impossible to automatically detect flawlessly that it is the same mod, just for another mod loader.
When a mod fails to verify, give users the a second option of "Is this mod an official port of another mod? if so, link the original mod here:" where it checks to see if the owners match up between the original mod and the port and then it gets sent in for review by a human, not an automated system.
99% of users would not understand this. They don't even now the difference between Forge and Fabric.
It would create more trouble than benefit.
Either that, or allow mod developers to connect their mod account (curseforge or alternative) to their aternos account so that they can manage ports of already approved mods themselves and thus do the work for you of saying "it's the same mod".
1) Creating a feature to link CF accounts to Aternos just for that little edge-case requires are very big effort in development and provides a very small benefit.
2) We support mods because our users want it. But we have so many, that we try to keep the effort required very small. We don't build custom solutions for single mods (e.g. flans) just to support one mod. They are just "an entry in a very big list". This has nothing to do with this topic, but the same is true the other way around: For mod developers we're just a server host. One of many. In the same, we, Aternos, are just an "entry in their list"(figuratively). They won't start doing custom stuff (linking CF accounts etc.) just to support that single host. They would rather just say, use another host. And I can fully understand that.
Please stop punishing mod developers for making a separate page for their fabric/forge versions. You are only forcing a loophole of them uploading both to the same page by doing this and this forced loophole doesn't help you, the mod developers, your curation system, the users here. . . it unfortunately only serves to get in it's own way.
As I explained already, the actual cause for this is that CF did not have a proper implementation for multiple mod loaders for a long time.
CF is currently reworking that whole Fabric/Forge hell on their site, let's hope that their new solution solves this in an adequate way.
Nevertheless, feel free to report such cases here in the forum and we will add them then. Added bountiful-fabric now.
There is no need to specify versions for mod suggestions as we automatically add all versions of a mod as well as updates coming out later.
I checked the mod you posted above (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/wither-bones/) and noted that this mod is not added at all. Therefore I assume you're mixing up different mods and think they are the same. Could you please provide the link of the mod you're talking about from our mod browser?
From the screenshots I see here it appears that the problem is that you have pretty small screens.
We take great care to keep our advertising within acceptable limits, but we cannot accommodate every edge case.
Nevertheless, we'll see what we can do to improve this.
Did you buy Minecraft?
There just no version of the mod you want to install available that is compatible with the installed version of forge/Minecraft.
The mod does probably just set some generator settings. If there isn't any documentation about them the only way to get them is by reverse engineering.
Either upload the SP world to the server or contact the mod creator.
Did you check the coordinates?
Do the server packs have to be up to date,
yes
How do you set it up on SP?
If there isn't any documentation about servers you may ask the mod creator.
Upload the world, disable optimize on the worlds page then start the server.
According to the crash report the mod is not compatible with servers.
So, ask the mod creator.
Remove the mod Schools of Magic: Second Semester
Share the client and the server log and screenshots of the installed mods on server/client.
You won't find items of the these mods in world chunks that were already generated.
Either you find chunks that are new / not generated yet or you have to generate a completely new world.
