This mod has only one version available which is in beta state.
It never received any updates and is already some years old

Check the server log. Your choosed mods might be incompatible or you're missing some dependencies.

"Long time" can be some minutes or some hours. It depends on the interpretation
So if it stucks he has to be more precise with his time information.
However it wouldn't be possible that it is more than some minutes (Depending on the software he's using.)
With forge the server will be killed after 10 minutes
