The problem is that the launcher on your pc always installed the last recommended version.

Provided older files would result in people always having issues connecting to their server - or they'll complain that the server is outdated. That's not really our beer.

Plugins are not filtered. You'll see all versions as we can't check whether they are compatible or not.

Plugins are not like mods.

Provide a link to the mod you're talking about
