Maybe the server list you want to use just not compatible with SRV. (SRV is the technic behind the Aternos IPs)

Dein Account wurde per E-mail erstellt. D.h. du kannst dich auch nur damit anmelden und nicht z.b. durch facebook.
Hast du schon versucht die Passwort vergessen zu benutzen. Dann wird dir ein neues Passwort an deine E-mail Adresse geschickt.

Also when the server starts up I don't see anything in the console

Also today your server as online multiple times.
Check the console when this happens and find out which plugin is causing the long boot time. There could also be a crash.
