There is no way to increase the resources for your server. The only way is to reduce your usage of resources.

However, when I changed it to hard mode, everyone got their inventories reset.
That doesn't happen when you change the difficulty, that only happens when you change the cracked mode.
Changing cracked mode changes the way how the server identifies users.
We can't change that from our side.
