We don't modify the world generation at all.
Maybe the installed server software has a modified world generation. But Afaik that's only the case for Pocketmine and Glowstone, the others probably try to keep it "vanilla" as possible

We always provide the latest recommended version for a modpack which is currently v 1.9.6.1
