If you already have an idea, why don't just try some stuff out?
Create a backup and generate a new world. If it does not solve your problem, just restore the backup.
(The reason for my assumption that your server is running out of ram is because of internal error messages to your server that you cannot see.)

Minecraft 1.2.5 does not support the technology we use for the main IP (because it's very old), so you can only use the DynIP
