We know that our users don't like them, we don't like them too...
Without going into too much detail, I can say that we have also regulated these very strongly.
The current alternative would be long queues - and I think even fewer people would like to wait.
If we need them in the long term we will adapt the corresponding texts, but we currently do not expect that.

You probably enabled it while your server was online and did not restart the server afterwards.

You manually edited the banned-players and banned-ips file and saved it with invalid syntax.
Don't edit files on your own if you don't know what you're doing.
For the banned-* files you can use our editor on the players page instead.
