1. open your minecraft installation path (enter %appdata%/.minecraft in the file explorer )

also i made a new xbox account named er9747 and now i just get the disconnected error
Your minecraft username needs to be shorter than 16 characters
I just reaslised the username is 15 characters, am confused

ok, my first thread here so.
i wanted to fire up my old galcticraft server (with galacticraft addons and other utilies)
however i keep getting "disconnected" or i get a java error saying "timed out" or a "string longer than allowed" error
i get the disconnected error more often and apparentally the server is has a 2 second ping.
i live in scotland btw.
