When I start up the server, the TPS (on Aternos) appears to be 8, then goes to 7, then 9, then 12, then 15-17, then 20, but when I join, the TPS appears to be at around 14-17. Then, if I wait about 150 seconds, the TPS goes back to 20.

I installed the DeluxeHub plugin for my server for a lobby/hub. I only have 4 worlds (Hub, One33Seven, One33Seven_nether, One33Seven_the_end). Every time I use the world selector in the hub to go to a different world, the TPS drops from 20 to 19.5, then 18, then 17, then 16. It will take around a minute to go back to 20 again. It seems to me that if I teleport anywhere, the TPS will drop.

Here is a link to the timings report (ran for 5 mins).

Here is also a link to the log (saved 28 mins after startup).

Is there any fix to this? The server IP is One33Seven.aternos.me if that can help somehow.

UPDATE: The server has crashed. Here is the updated log: https://mclo.gs/2UURV7X

I can't share a crash report here because for some reason it didn't generate one even though it says "Crashed".

My server is randomly running out of memory and crashing due to an "exception in server tick loop", as stated in the crash report: https://mclo.gs/3XnOkOo

All that happened was that a plugin executed something and the server just closed. Here is log: https://mclo.gs/aHatvlC

For some reason, other plugins are having problems running when they never did before. CometWelcome shouldn't be the problem since when I installed it, it was working perfectly fine with just a few plugin commands not working when executed. I don't know why this started happening today.

If anyone can find a fix to this, it would be greatly appreciated.

    :aternos:

I've installed ProtocolLib on my 1.18.1 PaperMC server. I think the TPS lag is caused by ProtocolLib because if I uninstall it, the TPS goes back to normal. The log for my server is here: https://mclo.gs/WEPf2zg

The plugin also creates errors for other plugins. Also, the ProtocolLib I am currently trying to use is this one: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/protocollib.1997/

There is another ProtocolLib that doesn't support any versions above 1.15. The other one is here: https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/protocollib

I have provided some screenshots here.

    The server IP is One33Seven.aternos.me

Please let me know if there are any solutions WITHOUT deleting ProtocolLib.

    Thanks.

Sorry for responding really late. I haven't checked this post in a long time because it isn't happening as frequently as before. Anyway, the Aternos IP of the server is One33Seven.aternos.me. If this helps, I included a custom domain (mc.one33seven.ml).

Can you explain what exactly you observe?

Sometimes, when I restart the server, some of the plugins are reverting to old data and some plugin data is lost. I checked the logs and I don't see anything that could've caused it. It doesn't happen all the time but it happens every day to me at least once. For example, I have a plugin named Minepacks,, this plugin gives players backpacks for extra storage. Sometimes, the plugin data of Minepacks gets reverted to an old version.

When the plugin data is reverted, all player data is still kept and unaffected. I didn't mess or touch the config files much and even if I do, I always check for syntax errors. In addition, I also have a daily reward plugin and the daily rewards keep being reverted so if a player already claimed the reward and the plugins revert, the player will be able to reclaim the rewards even when the reward shouldn't be available to the player yet.

I have a Paper/Bukkit server, and the plugin data keeps reverting to old data and some data is being lost. Then, sometimes if I restart the server again, it reverts back to the new data. If anyone can find a solution to this, I would appreciate if you can reply here.

My server IP (if it will help): One33Seven.aternos.me

I have a server that is on easy mode for all dimensions (overworld, nether, end). My issue is that when I restart the server, the difficulty resets to peaceful and I have to set it back to easy every single time I restart the server. Another bug that's also happening in my server is that the some of the plugin data are being reset on some server restarts. For example, I have the EasyRanks plugin for my PaperMC server and sometimes when the server restarts, it resets all the ranks for every player. This is not a big issue for my server but my main problem is the difficulty bug. Basically, the overworld difficulty resets on server restart. If anyone knows a fix to this bug, please reply here.

Edit 1: If this would help, the Aternos server IP/host is one33seven.aternos.me. Additionally, the custom domain IP for the server is mc.one33seven.ml.
