This is honestly going nowhere considering how we are both confusing each other with evident misunderstandings between either method of writing, or just a incompatability with how we view things.

With all that said and done before this thread gets locked/never seen again, mind telling me when the threads auto delete for inactivity? Cause my stupid thread that I can for some ungodly reason can't delete due to whatever reasons you specified above, is still active, without a proper IP/Discord LInk, and I cant erase it or the messages on that thread to allow myself to create a new thread for one of my other servers.

    Summary:
How long does server listing auto-deletion take? (For inactivity or otherwise stated reasons.)

You can, within 5 minutes after creation of the post. If you have a new server, wait the cooldown time and create a new thread. The intention behind this is to avoid that other users comment your post and you change the original content.

I don't understand this at all.

    Quote from Roman

With the standard tools of this forums software it's not possible to allow users to delete threads. Which makes sense, since users shouldn't be able to delete other users posts by deleting a thread.

It would be possible to write an own forums plugin, but that's not worth the effort.

I would be asking for SELF Thread deletion. Why would you want others to delete YOUR thread? That's just asking for griefing.

Also, why would you not have built in permissions for thread permissions (Such as archiving, or in this case deleting?) Seems a bit weird, you dont have to notice this at all.

I dont think that last para refers to anything I should consider here.

That was never possible. Normal users just can't delete threads at all. They can delete their own post, and if it's the only one it automatically deletes the thread.

    Skipping the whole senseless discussion...

Why do you want to delete your thread?

    Probably because
1: You can't edit listed links/versions/IPs on said threads.
1.1: You cannot create as far as I'm aware any more than 1 Thread for your other existing Ips (Which wouldn't make sense as long as there is only 1 max per IP.)

    2. I don't use it anymore/deleted the topic starter in a attempt to remove the entire thread, which if you ask me, should be what happens to a certain extent.

    3. Should one really need a reason to delete something they created? You guys get logs of every edit/delete/creation regardless? (Assuming you have a log system similar to Fandom's)

So basically, from your point of view, A 1 hour cooldown for terminating a thread of one's own creation is too short, but people can just create Alt accounts and spam the same server over and over again in the span of 10 Minutes or less per alt (or about 6 boosts a hour.) but A 1 hour cooldown would be spammable?

Bumping threads also happens excessively often, however moderating excessive bumping is easier to moderate then someone spamming a million threads. Additionally i do not believe you can get your thread deleted unless you have a good reason. And again, people can just abuse deleting their threads and making it again, giving it basically the same effect as not limiting it tov1 thread per person

Q: again, why would you need to spam threads when you can just bump.

Q: As a furtherment to the original suggestion: why is there not a 1 hour CD for deleting/posting threads instead of this system?

Also Under the presumption that it will not be added ever again:

Tell me how I can atleast hasten the process of deleting my thread, its annoying to deal with.

Allow us to terminate/delete our own threads in ServerListing so we dont have to wait for a unspecified time for it to be auto-deleted.

This is with consideration to the fact that we cannot delete threads of our own if another person has commented unless all comments are deleted.

I'll add a poll to this for the same question for fun, as you guys might wanna see the community's feelings about it.
