I'm curious about a similar thing, is it possible to add a plugin to a modpack at all?

This is mainly talking about accessing the config files in the Pixelmon Reforged modpack. There is a file called "pixelmon.hocon" that allows you to enable things like normal mc mobs with pokemon or editing the behavior of certain pokemon, even changing the starter choices and much more. This is the only way to do this. Is there a way to access that file or any config file in the modpack? If not, will it ever be possible? Personally I can live without adding any other mods to this pack but not being able to edit it is making it hard to play. There are some things that just can't be accessed otherwise. Plus it would be nice for the odd other pack to config the odd thing if something isn't what the player wanted.

The Fox Pack Reborn is a modpack that focuses on rough survival,exploration and magic with a bit of technology. It includes many known mods to people like JEI, Botania, Tinkers Construct and MrCrayfish Furniture mod. Some mods that some people may not know about are Tough as Nails which makes survival tougher with having to worry about hydration, your temperature while seasons are happening. Creatures around the world are from Grimoire of Gaia and Mo' Creatures so you can either find a bunch of pets to slay or take down a bunch of intense mobs. A new dimension that not many people hear about is called "The Betweenlands" and it's basically a dimension between the overworld and the nether. It has a swamp like vibe and tough mobs/bosses with mechanics that is meant for after killing the wither/beating the end. There is many decorative mods that can help your builds look nice like Architecture Craft and Chisel but there is also a mod that can help defend your base while trying to survive which is Open Modular Turrets. The world is also generated really nicely with Biomes O' Plenty and Real Terrain Generation as well by default.

Basically my suggestion is if there was an option to type in the world type when you hit new on your server. That way if you have mods like Biomes O' Plenty or Quark you can have different world types. Example "BIOMESOP" will generate a Biomes O' Plenty world generation or "quark_realistic" generates a realistic world generation. That way we aren't just limited to the default minecraft ones.

They just about got to 15k today I hope this pack gets added so badly, been wanting to play it since their series started with Crainer.

I hope they get back to anyone who has requested this pack to get added. It looks like a ton of fun and i've even been making a resource pack with friends for this pack specifically too.

I tested pixelmon 5.0.1 the latest one on the servers here and it works perfect. I was able to send out my pokemon and have them spawn around in the world

I'm not sure where the best place to mention this is but there is an update for Farming Valley, I went through all the other packs and they seem to be up to date. Keep up the great work!

A major Pixelmon modpack with the latest version of the mod. There is also achievements in this pack that were made by Kehaan. This modpack was also played by SSundee,MrCrainer and CaptainSparklez so this is a good way that many fans can play what their favorite minecraft youtubers played. It even includes a mod that acts like Pokemon Go where you can go to actual pokestops and get some cool stuff to help you progress. Many other known mods included but they don't take the main focus away from catching Pokemon. For the pack also only being out just under a month too and it being created by Kehaan, this pack will continue to rise in popularity.

This modpack is created by Kehaan who has worked with popular Youtubers such as Ssundee,MrCrainer and CaptainSparklez. With only being out in just over 2 months, it's popularity has risen. This modpack basically focuses on tasks like in stardew valley/harvest moon where you start off from nothing and then you progress through a farm and work your way to a whole town and many other objectives in the achievement book. This one also does have a server version.

Even if this doesn't get added from what i'm saying, I highly recommend downloading this modpack and checking it out first before your answer. This modpack did literally just come out but it is created by the popular Kehaan who made TheMadPack,Crundee Craft, Trollcraft, Fire in the Pipe and many other popular modpacks. He also helps out Ssundee and MrCrainer and now CaptainSparklez who are popular youtubers with lucky blocks, modpacks, hosting/running the servers. MrCrainer is also starting a series on this modpack as well. It may not have many downloads or anything at the moment but it is a modpack that many people are going to hear about constantly online.

This mod basically adds Harvest Moon to minecraft. You can start a town, have a relationship, interact with npcs and it has different seasons. There is much more to do and it even has its own tutorial on how to use it. It even has an official modpack that is still pretty new which is completely optional if it should be added instead of just the mod. All the modpack adds is just some lite mods to help with the experience of the mod.

This modpack is the perfect one for people who are into rpgs and mmos. It has a massive amount of mods (and maps online by the creator) that perfectly give that vibe. It's biggest mod is the Lord Of The Rings mod which includes different factions to have different alignments, items, weapons, bosses, etc. It also has it's own questing system which can guideline you how to get through different mods either in the mod or just other ones in general.

Also how popular does a pack have to be? For example, the modpack Horizons and a couple others under FTB has about 20k downloads, I know they are FTB but im just curious on how you decide if they are popular or not.

This modpack stands out from other modpacks because it was fully decided by a community. It also offers cross-mod compatibility but it's completely optional to use those recipes. It also offers at least 1000 custom recipes and tons of re-balancing. A really well made modpack that always has something to do from magic to tech to just simply builds.
