There are several .json's i can open, however the one i can't is the instance.json in plugins/mstore/factions_mconf.\
I think this has the pricing and things in it, but as i stated i can't open it

Could you get people to go on those external sites and ensure that the plugins are updated, and if not to update them?
I'm sure some people would gladly do that.

No, its using massivecore, so it has all that mstore stuff.
The main config file for factions is a .json file, and it's not openable.

There are two possible explanations for this.

One: You have a bad computer, bad connection, or both.

Two: Your command is lagging out Aternos, but that's unlikely even with a low amount of RAM.

What Roman said is probably true, your friend likely has a bad internet connection.
There shouldn't be any connection problems on Aternos' side, because I can connect and I have horrible internet.
Unless you don't live in the U.S or Europe, but you didn't mention you not being able to connect, so I figure that's not the case.

Well, the title says it all.
Even if someone were to ask a plugin developer to link their plugin directly on spigot, it is likely they will deny that request.
So why can't Aternos download plugins from external sites like MCmmo, LibsDisguises, and ProtocolLib?

CratesPlus is not correctly updated.
It uses spigot, but in the plugin selection page for it, the latest version is 3.1.2, and the latest version (by the way, none are downloaded off external sites) is 4.2.1.
So, please update this. Thanks.

I have discovered that the CratesPlus version on Aternos is outdated, and so is invalid.

What version of plugins are you using?

I recommend using the server software Spigot for 1.10.2, unless you need 1.8 or something.
