update: I did try editing the nbt files as was suggested in another thread but it still doesn't seem to be working, and the nether still reads as an unknown dimension even after adding it to the world gen spot.
furthermore: I opened it to single player and it does the same thing.

Open the world folder and delete a folder called DIM-1

Try regenerating the nether
hi! thanks for the advice. how does one do that?

Hi, nether dimension is no longer loading after adding Origins, Extra Origins, Mob Origins and dependencies. I've seen various threads with similar issues but would prefer to avoid reuploading the world.
More information: tried to teleport myself to the nether via /execute however it cited "the_nether" as an unknown dimension.
Edit: as replies suggest, I did try regenerating the nether by deleting DIM-1 and the end via DIM1 but to no avail.
