    Hello

my situation is simple. My friends were playing around with command blocks and then they used a command that glitched the whole server. Not sure what the command is.

I tried doing many things like restart the server, reload the map, and what not however nothing has worked.

    Hey mates,

some of you may recall that last week I was asking about a problem with my server. Brief summary, I couldn't load my world because it kept lagging due to my friend making a giant sphere of TNT (he didn't light it up though, thankfully) and now I'm basically in a situation where I can not load my world on any server.

With that said, this is what I've tried to do in the past week-

-I've tried MCEdit, which at first didn't work but now it's working just fine (more later)
-Created a brand new server (not an aternos server)

None of these have worked, except the MCEdit option. As I said, I had trouble with using this at first, but eventually i got the hang of it. With that said, I pruned my world so that only the chunks with the buildings I made are saved.

So, me being excited that after a week I can finally load up my world, I got on Aternos (since I couldn't make my own server) and tried uploading the world. However, that failed saying there was no world found. I was confused by this, especially since I actually uploaded a world before it that just got off MCEdit and it perfectly worked. When I compared both world's zipped folders and saw they're practically the same I felt very confused.

Now, I want to say these things before you ask:
-Yes, it is a zip file.
-Yes, it is under 200MB (67 MB)

So my question is, what is the problem I am having and how do I fix it?

I understand the problem you're facing.
Unfortunately I don't have a real solution as the 200MB Limit is not really set by us. 200Mb Limit is set by our web security provider and we are not able to raise it.

The only thing what I can recommend you is to delete chunks.

Alrighty, thanks for helping, I guess I just have to learn how to delete chunks properly.

Hello, it is I, xP4NC4K35x, but today I'll just go by the name Preston (my actual name).

The past month I've been playing on my Aternos server. I definitely enjoy Aternos and the things it has to offer, and as a person who has used Aternos since early 2016 I must say that this website has changed A LOT. In a good way, of course.

    So, story time.
I am a person who loves working on big projects in Minecraft. More importantly, city projects. And that is what I've been doing for the past month on my server with a few other of my lovely friends. So far, the thing I'm most proud of so far is the Airfield I've made. But anyway, more importantly, lets get to the climax.

So, one of my friends who loves to mess around came on to the server and decided to make a giant TNT sphere (keep in mind he didn't blow it up). When I hear he was doing this, I wasn't really listening and so I didn't really care. Bad idea.

A week later, aka yesterday, I was making a river using voxelsniper. When I was flying around the river I came upon the giant TNT sphere and right away thought "shoot, I better remove this asap". Then, after about 15 seconds my game started to lag. And it really started to lag. I couldn't move until eventually, I crashed. I kept trying everything I can to fix it. I tried to do /kill in time so that I'll re-spawn back at my spawnpoint, but that didn't work. Hope was bleeding out.

At first, I got pretty pissed at my friend. Why did he have to make a giant sphere of tnt? It wasn't funny. It wasn't cool. But then I cooled down a bit and decided to try downloading the world again then re-uploading it to my server, Suddenly, I got a message saying that I can not upload a map over 200MB. My map was over 300MB. Also, before I continue on I just want to say YES it was a .zip file.

So, the main problem was that I had a file too big. So, I tried doing what I can to reduce the size. I did what it had suggested and tried using MCEdit. I tried my best using with a little help from some videos and some other forum posts, however I ended up with a world with f---ed up chunks. So, I tried doing something else, that being, deleting files in the region folder. But that got me no where, because I couldn't tell which files to delete and what not.

So here I am now. Right now it is winter break, and I've been really looking forward to working on my server. But nope, because someone wanted to make a pointless tnt sphere, now I can play on that world, or at least with friends (since I can play on it on singleplayer, but that is just kind of lame).

So, I guess my problem is is that I can't load my over-sized minecraft world onto my aternos server, even after trying to use MCEdit. Any help?

    Thanks,
    Preston

    So,

as some of you may know, a few weeks ago I made a thread about how my server kept lagging for me. I tried reinstalling my world into singleplayer, and the result was that I was able to join but the actual world didn't form. The only thing there was was me and a void.

With that said, I went ahead and tried to regenerate a new world on Aternos. I did that, went to start my server, hoping my server can work after three months. The result was that the server couldn't even start. When I clicked start, the server went into queue like all other servers. When it came to the loading process, I sort of noticed it took unusually long. I let it go for around five minutes, came back after, tried reloading the page, and the page said the server is offline.

Is there any way I can fix this?

Did you get any Error on your screen while your trying to join your server?

What do you mean? You mean does it log me out with an error message? No, my whole game just crashes and closes out, if that is what you are talking about. It does say in the console that I 'timed out' however.

It's been perhaps about three years I've been playing on Aternos server. The website is perhaps some of the best Minecraft-related websites out there. It offers you a free server that you can run without necessarily downloading anything. I hope that Aternos keeps getting even greater and greater in its lifespan.

But today, that is not my case. My problem is is that whenever I turn on my server, and yes it IS ONLINE, I can't actually join. Instead it lags out my game and I crash. I have had this problem for about three months now, starting back in June, so I couldn't play Aternos at all this past summer. But now it is October, and although it isn't summer any more, my server unfortunately still does not work.

Some basic information for you all to know:
-My friends can join my server but I can't due to it crashing all the time.
-The following is a list of my plugins.

-I can join my friend's aternos server. In other words, I can join other aternos servers.
-Yes, I am whitelisted on the server.
-This is what my console read when I joined:

-Yes, I am running on the same version of Minecraft.

That is all for now. Hopefully, you all can help me fix this problem. I have hope with the Aternos community and its helpers.

    Hello fellow patrons.

This has been happening for the past two days and so far it is getting really annoying and frustrating. For some reason, whenever I join my server I right away am lagging a ton, and eventually my game doesn't respond and crashes. However, whenever I turn it on and my friends join its normal for them. Oh and before you mention white-list: I don't have it on. The only plugins I have added is WorldEdit, VoxelSniper, CommandNPC, Bookshelf, and AdminEssentials. Oh and also, I am able to join other servers (not sure about Aternos servers specifically).

    Thank you,
    Pancake

and me and my friend just want to build a city. The only 2 plugins I have is Voxel and WorldEdit. Any help, please? ?(?(?(?(:huh::huh::huh:
