Seems like you have a problem with world which is corrupted. Try to download your world and go to its playerdata and delete it after that upload your world again

Aternos can’t update plugins since they are not the authors but if the plugin has a new update it will be automatically fetch by aternos system

You cannot download plugins on vanilla servers

I use WorldGuard and set flags in regions to disable TNT and other block destruction.
If you want to turn them off for the entire world, you could reference the __global__ region.
Example:
/rg flag _global_ other-explosionn deny
/rg flag _global_ TNT deny
