I was wondering how long after not starting a server is a map deleted? I imagine you would need too eventually.
I'm also curious as to how Aternos makes money or stays afloat?

They don't create minecraft, they just run a free minecraft server hosting website, it's all multiplayer so this request wouldn't make much sense
They're correct. If you want more options for creating a world create it in the mine craft client then upload it to Aternos.
If you still need help I guess I could, my time is fairly limited and I like my skin and don't have the original link so I'd have to figure out how to back it up but other than that.
You can try cutting down the world size by either deleting select files out of the "region" files or using MC-edit to delete chunks. I would suggest the latter.
Very curious. Could you try to upload a smaller world?
I had tried the other 43.something MB world and that did not work. However after resetting it for other reasons it now seems to be working.
Thank you very much for your help however!
I am not using a proxy and I have been able to use this message board and see the homepage, server page, and start the server. I will however try and see if I can someone else to attempt the upload to find out for sure.
How long do you have to wait until you get the error page?
6 Minutes.
The limit is at 100MB, our Help Center is outdated.
Did you check our tutorial yet?
I just did, and I don't see anything I'm doing wrong. I used Win.rar to pack the entire world files (data, DIM1, DIM-1, Playerdata, region, Stats, level.dat, level.dat_old, and session.lock) into a .zip file titled Survival or Server (5) as I tried with two different ones.
Upon trying again in addition to the previous web browser error I also got "This site can't be reached, aternos.org tool too long to respond" and on completly seperate occasions when getting the other error and upon refreshing the page I got a message on site saying "fatal error on uploading (cannot unpack archive)"
Make sure your world is not larger than 100 Megabytes.
It already is, the entire file being 72.5 MB.
EDIT: The limit actually seems to be at 50MB, not 100 MB, so I'm guessing that's the problem. Thank you very much however.
i am trying to upload a map from my previous survival server, however whenever trying to upload the file, which is in .zip form, the site seems to crash telling me "This site can't be reached, the connection was reset".
