  • Keep getting kicked out of server

    This happens (I think) because of the server taking up way more than 1 gigabyte of memory. Aternos can't handle that amount of memory being used, so it kicks everyone and shuts down the server.

    So is there any way to fix that? Or do we just have to not get on all together or something? this has never happened to me before on any server.

    Edit: this is getting out of hand. I just lost my entire inventory of stuff for some reason after getting kicked out, and I'm alone on the server too. Is it because I' in 1.13 or a snapshot of it? I really need to know how to fix whats goin on cause i just want to play my dang game... Thanks for telling me what it is though

  • Keep getting kicked out of server

    Me and my friends are playing 1.13 pre-release 2 on our server and we keep getting kicked out. Suddenly everything just stops working and then we are all kicked out because of the server randomly closing. There's no specific time in between logging on and it closing, it just happens whenever. I've found that when I'm alone on the server that it happens less, but its still pretty frequent. Is it happening because its on a snapshot or...? And how can we fix it? Thanks in advance :)

    I just logged on, and it is seeming to work. Entities are responding and I haven’t been kicked out so far. I think whatever you did worked. I’ll tell you if I have any problems. Thank you for (most likely) fixing this, I really appreciate it. I might actually be able to play with my friend now :P
    Edit: It was working perfectly for a quite a while, then suddenly it started acting up again. I dropped 5 blocks of diamonds on the ground and I can’t pick them up because it keeps kicking me out ;-;

    yup. Also, I’ve had this server for a long time and aside from a few times, it hasn’t really caused me any trouble. It just started this week. It works just fine for my other friends... does it have anything to do with internet connection?

  • Can’t play on my server

    So whenever I try to get on my server, one of a couple of things will happen. One thing that happens is I’ll click the server, it’ll load for a long time, and then say “disconnected” or “lost connection” or something like that. another thing that happens is it loads for a long time, then I will get the message io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connectiom timed out: no further information: The last thing that happens is I will be able to get in, but none of the entities are responding, and soon after joining I will get
    Internal Exception: Java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host


    I checked the logs, the only iffy thing I saw was something like
    Joined game
    Lost connection
    Left game


    I have tried both dyn and the regular IP address.


    I do not have any mods or plugins on my server
