either try to edit out the chunk which is at where ever causing issues,
or generate a new world

papermc would be your best shot for 1.13x/1.14x/1.15x
but for versions, i would recommend 1.12.2 -
backups are your only way of recovering progress, unless of course the backup was made before you made any progress

adding PermissionsEx is not possible in the first place. It was removed from bukkit by it's author, which is why it got removed from Aternos.

snapshots are known to be instable, glitchy and buggy. That's why they're snapshots.
We will not add more RAM based on this
And also:

oh, afaik, magma is optimized and also lets you plugins besides just mods.
But if you decide to switch to magma, make backups first

papermc should have good render distances, the rest is lower on newer versions (1.13x/1.14x/1.15x) for a bit more optimization. Papermc is optimized on itself
