  • Our file server is currently unavailabe/Connection problem

    Hello guys, am I the only one experiencing the error "our file server is currently unavailable"? It happens when I start the server. Moreover, the server settings (ex: # of player slots) gets reset and won't save; even a refresh will delete the data. Also, the whitelist/op is empty and I cannot add players. In the Files and Plugins, it says "Connection Problem!", what do I do to help fix this? The day before yesterday, May 3 about 6:00 PM GMT +08:00, everything was fine and I properly shut down the server, not 100% server utilization when I saved and closed the server. I tried playing with my friends yesterday, May 4 +08:00 GMT about 90% server utilization and the problem started appearing. Today, I just tried with 40% utilization and still the same problem. I tried Backup but it was no use. Please help me, I don't want to reinstall and configure the plugins again from the scratch. Thanks.


    Please nevermind this. I just reinstalled the server and everything worked again except that I lost 2 huge buildings that took 7+ hours to build last May 4 with my friends. I do really want to know why this happened though. Thx.

    But in "http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/commandhelper/" it says, "Download CommandHelper (off the wiki) and extract the .jar into plugins/." On the wiki, it says "To download the latest version, go to enginehub and download the latest successful build.". Then finally, the link to the download which is "http://builds.enginehub.org/job/commandhelper/last-successful/?branch=master". Doesn't it mean that they are on BukkitDev? I just want this plugin so bad. :(

    Big shoutout to Sir Matthias and Sir Andreas for fixing up my forum account since I was marked as spam after registration. Thanks for fixing it guys!


    I would like to request a plugin to be installed on my server so as to be able to manage my server more efficiently in terms of commands and helps me to be able to help out minimizing the file size of my world. The plugin name is CommandHelper. It allows you to have more "control" on your server and is definitely plus especially for those who plan on making Prison server (though I don't play Prison, it has commands which are generally great). For example, it is able to recognize WorldGuard's regions to work with blacklist items; something that WorldGuard or any other plugin doesn't support as of mean time. It is safe and is highly remarkable from the comments received on the official bukkit page. I recommend it to be available for everyone if possible but if not, I wish I can have it.
