Maybe someone you shared your account with set that up, or you just forgot that you set that up.
If you are not able to get a 2nd factor code there is no way to get access to your account again.

This app should already be installed on your phone and you should already know how it is working because without having this you are even not able to set up 2nd factor on your account.
Also if you don't have any 2nd factor app and also not a backup of your old 2nd factor app there is no way to access your account again.

why should i have it? i never got informed of anything like that.. plus are we talking about the barcode google authenicator thing? if yes, theres no my barcode scanned for aternos. just give me the app

Our two factor system uses 2nd factor apps. You won't get any code by mail or sms.
You need to open your 2nd factor app and enter the code which is displayed there.
