Look at your log and see what error you're getting. Unless your player slot is full so you can't join?

Make sure you have the same mod versions and the same forge version. If you do not have the same exact mod and versions same goes for forge it will not work. It happened with me and friend so I checked her mods and my mods and we had different versions so I made sure we had the same mod versions as aternos provides and it worked.

It is a fun mod and you can create portals from the Earth, Mood, Mars and many more. You have to collect oil to power the rocket. There is different types of rockets. The better the rocket the more stuff you can take to space or planet.

Okay so I do not own this mod or know the owners but is it possible to add a mod? I really wanna use AIOT Botania on my server with my friend but apparently it doesn't exist when I search for the mod. Is there a way to add it or can me and my friend add it to .minecraft/mods folder and use the mod without installing it on the server?
