once your server is started it takes everthing from the fileserver and once it stops it puts it back so no there is no older version of your world

the warning is a good idea but aternos cant backup 12 318 296 servers

disable cracked or install skinsrestorer

thats why is a snapshot there might be all kind of errors occuring if you use it.

aternos doesnt make backups for you. Before moving to a snapshot ALWAYS make backups
