Hi,
I'm just wondering whether my server will get automatically deleted if it isn't used for a certain amount of time. If so, how long would the server need to be inactive before it is removed?

Hi,
I think there should be an option to set the server's view distance in the options panel using a +/- counter-type thing like the one that the player slots option currently uses.
Even though some higher view distances might be laggy, it's still nice to have the option to increase it if needed (also, 1.15 seems to be more optimised than 1.14)
Great, thanks
Yes
So, I can continue to backup my world even when it grows larger than 200MB?
Hi,
I was wondering; does the backup feature have a limit like the uploader does, where worlds over 200MB won't be backed up? Or does it work for any size?
Also, does the download have a limit as well?
Thanks
no
Aww... would you at least be able to tell us how this new system will work though?
Ok that’s great! Do you have a rough idea of when the change will be released (if it does end up working)?
The problem is not the storage per server. Your server can be much bigger than 200 Mb, but the upload does not support more than 200 mb
The reason is that we use a 3rd party service for further protection of our website, this service does only allow up to 200 mb upload. We could increase this, but only if we pay much much more for this service. Right now the money we need to spend for this would be much higher than the benefit.
Ah, ok.
Or - what if you edit the file manager to allow for multiple uploads (each one less than 200MB so you still won't have to pay for larger capacity), and let us move files around and create empty folders which we can then drop the uploaded files into? This would allow us to upload large worlds by breaking them into multiple smaller parts and then reassembling them into one folder on the site.
Could it still be a possibility though? Most other free server hosts have a lot more storage per server
Hi Aternos,
I would love to be able to upload worlds larger than 200MB - I think a better limit would be more like 1GB. Most servers exceed 200MB after a while, so setting this limit eventually forces people to stop using your service. Also, a better file manager would be great since the current one doesn't allow for files other than full worlds to be uploaded or downloaded. A file manager similar to server.pro's would be much more useful for server owners. (they allow near full control of the server files, including server.properties and uploading/downloading of files within world folders. They also allow much larger upload sizes).
Thanks,
Aidowl
