People that are hosting RLCraft servers are setting it to 6 because the modpack is demanding and it lags less, altho for good survival experience it should be 8 minimum. On Aternos however, by default it's set way too high, like 16 or more and because of the lag it's totally unplayable. I am 100% sure they can fix this if the admins see this post.

Hello everyone, Is there a way for me, or for you to change the server view distance on RL Craft modpack server. It's so high you can see mobs on over 16 chunks away, and the servers have like 2-5tps. (sometimes they drop to 1 and it stays like that for a while) Totally unplayable. Can the team somehow reduce the server view distance in order to fix this issue. The mod-pack uses so many resouces, the high view-distance makes it even worse. I think that reducing the view distance on this modpack will help alot with the low tps issue.
