So I wanted to try to add mods to the game so I followed the video. I didn't backup before because I thought i could have changed it back and everything will go back to normal so when I was on my forge software I did a back up of that and went back to vanila but then I realised I had deleted it but I still have the back. Is there a way for me to go back to vanila without me doing the same mistake again?? I've been trying for the past few days and I'm really struggling and I just want my server back so I can play with my friends..

like i said DONT USE THE BACKUPS. Download your world and upload it later....
You aren't supposed to restore a backup. Download your world, change the software and then upload the world again
So I don't use the back ups I download the current world and upload it..? I tried that today it didn't work and I don't know what I did wrong
