So, this might be a bit complicated. I was hoping to play an aternos server on 1.16, but only Vanilla is up to date at the moment. My server is PaperMC I think, and I want to get plug-ins sometime. My question is, can I change my server to Vanilla for 1.16 and once Paper/Bukkit is supported, then change it back to that and get plug-ins (without any problem with the Nether)? I also want to build in the new Nether before I change it back to Paper so I don't want that to reset or something before then. Thanks for reading!

I don't want to change it to Vanilla because I want to get some plug-ins, but I don't see how to upgrade the server to 1.16 on PaperMC. Any help or knowledge on when it'll be released for Paper?
