So, this might be a bit complicated. I was hoping to play an aternos server on 1.16, but only Vanilla is up to date at the moment. My server is PaperMC I think, and I want to get plug-ins sometime. My question is, can I change my server to Vanilla for 1.16 and once Paper/Bukkit is supported, then change it back to that and get plug-ins (without any problem with the Nether)? I also want to build in the new Nether before I change it back to Paper so I don't want that to reset or something before then. Thanks for reading!

I'm not exactly sure how the backups work on aternos, but as long as you can backup your world and the nether, you should be able to use a vanilla 1.16 world with the paper/bukkit 1.16 once it comes out because paper/bukkit/spigot is just adding plugins, and as far as I know, won't affect the world itself.
