The problem with Nukkit is that there's no plugins website with an API that allows Aternos to get the plugins. So it would be a Nukkit server with no plugins, it wouldn't make sense at all.
Backups are saved in a hidden folder for application data, which allows Aternos to store backups in your Google Drive account without having access to any of your other files. You can read more about the application data folder here: https://developers.google.com/drive/api/v3/appdata.
If you want to restore a backup, create a new server, go to the backups page, link your Google Drive account and you'll see all your backups there.
