I live in New Zealand so we all get like high 200s-300 ping but the others can play fine

Btw my friends can play fine, just not me. I'm not sure why as we all live in around the same general area.

Hi, I have been playing on a friend's server for around 2 days, and it worked almost fine with the occasional lag, but today I just cannot seem to join. When I try to join, it puts me out of the world, falling for a couple thousand blocks, and loads for a second before being disconnected and saying "Internal Exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection Reset". My internet is fast, with 200 up and 100 down and works fine with any other Minecraft server or any other game/streaming. Please help, thanks.
