PS: Aternos accounts and forums accounts are separated, probably that's why it does not work.

There is no official Essentials.zip for versions 1.8+. The Essentials.zip only goes up to 1.7.

Make sure the zip file does not contain any files it should not contain.

Soweit ich weiß liegt die Spawnprotection standardmäßig bei 16 Blöcken und kann nicht deaktiviert werden, da im Moment kein Zugriff auf die server.properties-Datei möglich ist.

Just try to start your server later again when network usage is lower.

Does the problem still persist? Did you check the server console for any error messages yet when starting the server?
