Yes, it will be installed when you install Essentials.

No, it's not possible yet to set a default texture pack for the server.

Make sure that your world isn't too big, and that you don't use too many plugins.

Because single mods are difficult to implement and it's a lot of effort to keep every single mod updated, because there is nothing as an official API where you can fetch updates.

It's not my decision whether they will be added or not.
