Yes, cracked means offline mode, so you will be able to play in school. Still, it's a safety risk to run your server in offline mode.

Das sollte nicht passieren, wenn man ordnungsgemäß aktualisiert. Aus diesem Grund trotzdem immer Backups machen.

Logischerweise wird nur die Serversoftware überschrieben, sonst bleibt alles gleich. Du kannst ja zur Sicherheit trotzdem deine Welt vorher herunterladen.

You can't run plugins besides a mod pack. Choose whether you want a mod pack server or a plugin server.
