If you want Spigot 1.17, you'll have to wait for Spigot to release it, then you can manually update

Vanilla just updates on it's own.

Could you go to the Aternos Logs and share them?

Go to the Version Selector and click on '1.17' (When it is released.)

If you're using Vanilla 1.16.5 then Aternos should automatically update it.

Do you have Spawn Protection enabled in your Aternos options?

If you're using Essentials, remove every essentials plugin except Essentials, EssentialsChat, and EssentialsSpawn.

Try using PAPER, if you use only plugins..

Most mods don't really work well with forge.

The 402 error is '402 Payment Required'..

But Aternos is free.. so why payment?

Have you tried backing up the current world and creating a new one? If it still crashes on the new one, try removing mods..

A ticking entity error is most likely caused by an item drop.. try doing /kill @e[type=item] (copy paste if you need to)

my friend on my survival server worldedited 50 full spheres of 1000 tnt and we let it explode and our server didn't even crash.
