What error message do you get with the normal IP?
Do you use TLauncher?

I fixed it now. i had to attach ":(port)" to the end of the IP

I have to use the dynIP every time I want to join my own server. I've tried changing my default DNS to google's IPv4 8.8.8.8, I've tried changing the IP of my server, I've restarted my laptop, nothing seems to work. What am I missing?
